About CTC

CTC was founded in June 1980 by the now defunct Philippine Construction Industry Authority (PCIA) of DTI. The technical and administrative operations were handled by PCIA while funding was provided by Philcemcor (Philippine Cement Manufacturers Corporation).

Beyond Cement Testing

The CeMAP PT Program was participated by CeMAP member companies, other private cement testing laboratories and DPWH laboratories. Participation to the CeMAP PT Program is a requirement of DPWH for their accredited laboratories following the Department Order no. 45 in 2012.

CEMENT TESTING CENTER

The Cement Testing Center (CTC) is the Philippine's best in class testing facility for cement products and cement raw materials, using ASTM reference methods in conducting Physical/Mechanical and Chemical analysis of Portland, Blended and Masonry cements, as well as raw materials like Pozzolan, Fly Ash and Slag.

Physical Test Parameters

CTC offers tests such as compressive strength, normal consistency, autoclave expansion, time of setting, cement fineness and density. There are also performance tests conducted by CTC such as alkali-silica reactivity, resistance to sulfate attack, and heat of hydration.
