JOEL (2010) examined the effect of crushed granite fines (CGF) as partial and full replacement of river sand and observed that there was an increase in compressive strength of concrete up to 20% replacement. Addition of granite dust beyond 20% led to a decrease in compressive strength at all ages i.e. 7, 14 and 28 days.
